Postdoc position in laminar-turbulent transition

About the PI: Dr. J. Ren, the Principal Investigator, is a professor at the 
Beijing Institute of Technology. His research interests encompass flow stability 
and transition, high-speed flows, supercritical flows, and machine learning. He 
has led projects such as the National Young Talents Program, the "Alexander von 
Humboldt Research Fellowship," and projects funded by the National Natural 
Science Foundation of China (NSFC).

About the Package: The selected candidates will receive an annual salary of up 
to 375,000 CNY at the Beijing campus or 520,000 CNY at the Jiaxing campus, 
depending on their experience and track record. The group will also provide 
research funding, additional subsidies, and bonuses based on research 
performance. The university offers one-bedroom accommodation on campus for 1,200 
CNY per month. These positions have a duration of two years, and outstanding 
candidates will be considered for faculty positions near the end of the term.

About the University: The Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) is located in 
the center of Beijing. Despite its compact size, it is part of the prestigious 
national higher education (Top 10) along with a few other esteemed universities. 
For international candidates, the university and the group offer comprehensive 
support for accommodation and integration into campus life. It's entirely 
comfortable to speak English on campus.

The Requirements: Candidates should have a publication record in relevant 
journals and the ability to communicate fluently in English. Experience in 
programming, analytical modeling, high-performance computing will be
