Particle-laden flow: from geophysical to Kolmogorov scales
|
This Colloquium focuses on particle-laden flows with
interest ranging from
the detailed flow-physics involving many embedded
particles, to large-scale
turbulent dispersion in environmental and geophysical
problems. The
purpose of the Colloquium is to address the gap between
simulation,
modeling and experiments on the one hand and requirements
posed by
realistic geo-physical or environmental problems on the
other hand.
