Description: | |
This meeting is a part of the International Conference of Numerical Analysis and Applied Mathematics 2011 (ICNAAM 2011). Topics to be covered include all the research areas of Numerical Analysis and Computational Mathematics and all the research areas of Applied and Industrial Mathematics. ICNAAM is one of the biggest annual events in the field of the numerical analysis involving hundreds of scientist from the whole world. Understanding fluid dynamics has been one of the major advances of mathematics, physics and engineering. Single- and multiphase flow technology is increasingly important in the energy and manufacturing industries. Heat transfer is of particular interest to engineers, who attempt to understand and control the flow of heat through the use of heat exchangers or thermal insulation, and other devices. The objective of the symposium is to bring together scientists working on numerical and also experimental issues. They are called upon to present their research. Topics of interest include (but not limited!):
The symposium will also involve a special session devoted solely to the topic of non-Newtonian fluid dynamics. In addition an invited talk will be given by Professor Matania Ben-Artzi, Einstein Institute of Mathematics, Hebrew University. |
