Computational Fluid Dynamics, or CFD, can be a useful tool
in the design process of turbomachinery, but the accuracy
of performance data obtained from CFD typically depends on
the skill of the designer/engineer in generating grids,
setting up boundary conditions, and interpreting results.
Pushbutton CFD®, part of Concepts NREC (CN)'s Agile
Engineering Design System® software suite, provides grid
generation, flow solution, and post processing in one
tightly-integrated package. Designers can make changes to
geometry, immediately see them reflected in the next CFD
run and compare performance data from different design
iterations.
In this Webinar, Daryl Bonhaus, PhD and Associate Director
of CFD Software at CN, will present attendees with an
overview of Pushbutton CFD and discuss improvements to it
that have been included in the most recent release of CN's
AxCent® software.
