Indo-Russian Workshop and Poster Presentation on High Performance Computing for Computer Aided Engineering and Sciences

High Performance Computing is a major industrial and
research tool. Nowadays a vast number of scientific and
technical problems are being studied with the help of
mathematical modeling and simulations on HPC platform.
Considering this into account, a workshop is being organized
to bring together researchers and industry professionals on
a common platform to discuss the importance of HPC
application in the areas of scientific research, product
design and associated cost and time savings.

High performance computing (HPC) is a major industrial and
research tool. Nowadays a vast number of scientific
and technical problems are being studied with the
help of mathematical modeling and simulations on HPC
platform. HPC provides analysts, engineers and
scientists computing resources which enable them to
take major decisions in product and process innovations and
enhancing research and development. Considering this
into account, a workshop is being organized to bring
together researchers and industry professionals on common
platform to discuss the importance of HPC
applications in the areas of scientific research,
product design and associated cost and time savings,
The workshop is partially supported by Department of
Science and Technology (DST), New Delhi .The workshop is
divided into two parts. The first two days (18th and
19th November 2014) would be dedicated to researchers
. There will be invited speakers from Russia as well
as from premier Institutions of India. They will
present their research work in areas of HPC related
to topics of poster presentation.
An Industrial interaction will be held on 20th Nov 2014 in
collaboration with Zeus Numerix to demonstrate Industrial
examples using HPC
