The Fourth Pacific Symposium on Flow Visualization and Image Processing will be held on June 3-5, 2003
in Chamonix, France, under the auspices of the Pacific Center of Thermal-Fluids Engineering (Hawaï,
USA).
This symposium is the latest in the PSFVIP series, first held in Honolulu in 1997 (Chairman : Prof S.
Mochizuki) and successively in Honolulu in 1999 (Chairman Prof S. Mochizuki) and Maui in 2001
(Chairman : Prof T. Kobayashi).
The symposium objective is to provide a forum for communicatoin and information exchange in the field
of Flow Visualization and Optical Flow Measurement.
Original papers are solicited covering all aspects of these techniques both from the qualitative and from
the quantitative points of view.
