Join ​us ​on ​May ​4, ​2016 ​for ​an ​open ​forum ​ discussion ​on ​combustion ​ modeling ​with ​a ​focus ​on ​industry ​needs ​and ​the ​ requirements ​for ​ future ​models ​to ​increase ​the ​impact ​of ​CFD ​ simulations. ​This ​event ​will ​promote ​the ​exchange ​of ​ideas ​through ​sessions ​that ​include ​speakers ​ from ​industry, ​academia, ​and ​research ​facilities. ​ ​

The ​morning ​session ​will ​focus ​on ​combustion ​modeling ​and ​will ​feature ​speakers ​from ​research ​institutions ​and ​universities. ​The ​talks ​will ​cover ​the ​current ​state-of-the-art ​of ​combustion ​modeling ​ and ​the ​outlook ​for ​ future ​models. ​ ​ ​

The ​afternoon ​session ​will ​feature ​speakers ​from ​the ​industry. ​Speakers ​will ​discuss ​how ​their ​companies ​use ​combustion ​ modeling ​and ​what ​ they ​need ​from ​future ​models ​in ​order ​to ​increase ​ the ​impact ​of ​their ​ CFD ​simulations. ​The ​talks ​and ​the ​open ​forum ​will ​ promote ​the ​ exchange ​of ​ideas ​such ​that ​companies ​can ​learn ​from ​each ​other’s ​ processes. ​Additionally, ​the ​open ​forum ​will ​provide ​ feedback ​to ​ researchers ​regarding ​steps ​they ​can ​take ​to ​make ​ future ​models ​more ​ useful ​to ​the ​industry. ​

A ​complimentary ​welcome ​dinner ​will ​be ​held ​on ​May ​ 3, ​2016 ​at ​ 7:30pm ​on ​the ​rooftop ​terrace ​at ​the ​Radisson ​Blu. ​
