Description: | |
Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) has grown by leaps and bounds over the last 20 years, becoming a viable tool for engineering companies looking to reduce time to market, reduce testing and rework costs. Simulation software also allows engineers to learn more about their products earlier in the design process. The CFD market has grown at an increasing pace in the last 10 years and this trend is expected to continue. Part of the reason for this rapid growth is the availability of affordable hardware required for CFD analysis. The industry, however, is also seeing growth of usage in both new and existing sectors due to the step- change improvement in simulation capability, and ease-of- use. STAR-CCM+® is a pioneering multi-physics simulation tool that enables users to conduct simulation analyses start to finish in a single environment. This, combined with its ease-of-use, ability to create automated workflows, robust meshing and comprehensive multi-physics capability (including CFD, Heat Transfer, FEA and Complex Particle Simulation) has enabled analysis teams to take their simulation usage to the next level. Join us for this engineering workshop where we will present the value of bringing CFD into your engineering process and show the key capabilities of STAR-CCM+ for fluid flow and heat transfer problems. We'll also give you the opportunity to work with the software in our hands-on session at the end of the day. This workshop is free, but registration is required.
