Convergent Science, in partnership with the SAE International
Torino Section, is delighted to announce the 2024 CONVERGE
Applications Workshop: Solutions for Low-Carbon
Transportation. This free one-day event will focus on
solutions to reduce carbon emissions from transportation
systems. Technical presentations will offer insight into the
research activities underway in academia and industry around
the globe, to develop the next generation of sustainable
transportation technologies.

| Description: |
The CONVERGE Applications Workshop is a free one-day event
focused on computational fluid dynamics (CFD) modeling of low-
carbon transportation technologies, including electric motors,
batteries, hydrogen, and other alternative fuels. Our lineup
of technical experts will showcase the results of their latest
simulation studies and highlight the advances they are making
in developing efficient, low-emissions propulsion systems.
Furthermore, our own Convergent Science engineers will
demonstrate the benefits of CONVERGE for addressing
challenging engineering problems such as battery thermal
runaway, electric motor cooling, and alternative fuel
combustion.
Following the technical program, attendees will have the
opportunity to participate in technical tours of Politecnico
di Torino and PUNCH Torino’s test facilities. The event will
conclude with a networking dinner, complete with good food and
great company.
