Description: | |
Following the success of the previous conferences in this series, at the University of Salford, September 1997, and the University of Bath, September 2000, the third conference will be held at Brunel University in September 2004. It is planned that the conference will start at lunchtime on Tuesday 14 September and finish at lunchtime on Saturday 18 September. The conference will be held at the main Uxbridge campus of the university, on the western edge of London, a short ride by public transport from central London and half an hour by bus from Heathrow Airport. Conference Organising and Scientific Committee:
The meeting will provide a forum for the exachange of ideas between academic and industrial researchers in different disciplines whose common interest is boundary integral methods. As well as discussing recent developments in the theory and numerical analysis of boundary integral equations, the conference will strive to encompass applications of contemporary relevance such as direct and inverse (medium and high) frequency scattering, electromagnetics and moving boundary problems in hydrodynamics. Continuing progress in key computational techniques such as multipole, wavelets and panel clustering, together with innovative algorithm design will be an additional theme. The conference will comprise invited lectures, contributed talks of up to 25 minutes in length, and poster sessions. Further details (names of confirmed invited speakers, submission deadlines, etc.) will appear here shortly.
