XVIII International Symposium on Combustion Processes will be organized by Institute of Thermal Technology, Silesian University of Technology, Gliwice, Poland. The Conference will be held in Beskidy Mountains (part of Carpatian Mountains) on 2-5 September 2003. This Symposium, organised every two years by the Section of Thermodynamics and Combustion of the Polish Academy of Sciences, has fourthy-year tradition as a meeting place for distinguished scientists and leading engineers from major industrial companies all over the world. Usually number of participants are between 100 and 200 from countries all over the world. Reasonably prices make it affrodable for scientists from developing countries and thus Symposium is the very good oportunity to meet people both from developed as well as developing countries. Beskidy Mountains are located on the south of Poland with good road connection with Katowice and Pyrzowice Airport and good train conections with all main Polish cities.
