Description: | |
ESSS and ANSYS/CFX invite all South American CFX Users and people interested at the CFD technology, particularly at the software CFX, to participate in the 1st CFX South American Users Conference to be held in Florianópolis from October 20th until 22nd. It is important to mention that this Conference is going to be the first of its kind held in South America and we hope to be a tremendous success as the Oil Workshop held earlier this year by ESSS and PETROBRAS in Rio de Janeiro. The event The main objective of the event is to create a discussion forum to those interested (users and potential users) in Computational Fluid Dynamics Software and in some of the applications related. This Conference is a 3-day event and joins the majority of the CFD related people in Brazil, and other countries in SA. We are expecting engineers from all ESSS commercial clients in SA and their partners from academy. Participants and attendees are going to have the opportunity to get in contact with a broad range of Fluid flow modeling and be acquainted with on-going research projects carried out in Brazil and other SA countries. The conference will focus on how companies can optimise their product and process design activities by exploiting the latest CFD solutions from ANSYS CFX. It's an excellent opportunity to:
We invite all of the CFX customers, researchers from companies and professors (students) to present technical papers on their CFD work. These presentations will cover a wide range of applications in the fields of:
Two short courses are confirmed, one to be performed by Professor Clovis R. Maliska, from Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, Mechanical Engineering Department, named "Element-based Finite Volume Method" (EbFVM), and the other one two be performed by Professor Aristeu da Silveira Neto, from Universidade Federal de Uberlândia, Mechanical Engineering Department, named "Introduction to Turbulence on Fluids". |
