Description: |
Advances in the design of future aero and stationary gas turbines will depend to a large extend on the development of robust, fast and more precise measurement techniques. Both in the US and in Europe instrumentation working groups are being formed to provide adequate answers to the needs of industry. This Lecture Series will be organized as part of the activities of the European Virtual Institute for Gas Turbine Instrumentation (EVI-GTI). The lecture topics will address in particular blade surface and gas path measurement techniques with particular emphasis on time accurate pressure, temperature and heat transfer measurements.
