International Conference of Computational Methods in Sciences and Engineering 2004 (ICCMSE 2004)
There is permanently a need in Computational Science and Engineering for the advancement of information exchange. This practice should be expressed by an interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary conference on Computational Methods in Sciences and Engineering. ICCMSE 2004 aims at playing the above role and for this reason the aim of the conference is to bring together computational scientists and engineers from several disciplines in order to share methods, methologies and ideas.

International Conference of Computational Methods in Sciences and Engineering 2004 (ICCMSE 2004) HOTEL MARE NOSTRUM (CLUB MED) , Vravrona, Attica, Greece 19-23 November 2004 URL address: http://www.uop.gr/~iccmse/ In the past decades many significant insights have been made in several areas of Computational Methods in Sciences and Engineering. New problems and methologies have appeared. There is permanently a need in these fields for the advancement of information exchange. This undoubtedly beneficial practice of interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary interactions should be expressed by an interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary conference on Computational Methods in Sciences and Engineering. ICCMSE 2004 aims at playing the above role and for this reason the aim of the conference is to bring together computational scientists and engineers from several disciplines in order to share methods, methologies and ideas. The topics to be covered include (but are not limited to): Computational Mathematics, Theoretical Physics and Theoretical Chemistry, Computational Engineering and Mechanics, Computational Biology and Medicine, Computational Geosciences and Meteorology, Computational Economics and Finance, Scientific Computation, High Performance Computing, Parallel and Distributed Computing, Visualization, Problem Solving Environments, Numerical Algorithms, Modelling and Simulation of Complex System, Web-based Simulation and Computing, Grid-based Simulation and Computing, Fuzzy Logic, Hybrid Computational Methods, Data Mining and Information Retrieval, Virtual Reality, Reliable Computing, Image Processing, Computational Science and Education etc.General Chair: Professor Dr. T.E. Simos, University of Peloponnese, Tripolis, Greece. Scientific Committee: Prof. H. Agren, Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden, Prof. H. Arabnia, The University of Georgia, USA, Prof. J.
