Description: |
The objective of this Lecture Series is to present a state-of-the-art review of
activities in wind technology and to indicate the current research directions. Introductory lectures will encompass the fundamentals of turbulence in the lowest part of the atmosphere, urban gas dispersion, wind energy potential and the wind effects on structures and people. These lectures are followed by up-to-date reviews on the numerical modeling and experimental results and an appraisal of the future challenges and perspectives in the domain. They will be presented by world experts in the field.
