We have positions for graduate students and postdocs in CFD and reduced-order modeling of cryogenic hydrogen flows in HYPER center https://hydrogen.wsu.edu/ at Washington State University funded by the Department of Energy, National Science Foundation, and world-leading industrial companies. There are also opportunities to contribute to experiments with liquid hydrogen or collaborate with other students/ staff doing such experiments. For graduate student applicants, proven experience with and strong interest in numerical modeling of fluid flows are required. For postdoc positions, the applicant’s PhD thesis or publications must include phase- changing flow modeling. Due to certain restrictions, only US citizens or permanent residents and citizens of NATO countries will be considered. The positions can start in January, May, or August 2025.
