The Consultancy services group is one of established teams at Tridiagonal. The
primary goal of the group is to provide CFD, DEM and System/Process consulting
analysis services to wide range of industrial requirements.
Requirement: We are looking for an engineer with strong Mechanical/Chemical
Engineering fundamentals, with innovative thinking and very good problem-solving
skills. Using simulation tools (mainly CFD based) with engineering fundamentals
are key attributes to solve customer problems.
Job Responsibilities of Principal Engineer:
• Technical responsibilities
o Understand customer problems and provide modeling approach and solution;
using CFD and other approaches as appropriate)
o Work with the customer to build appropriate realistic model that
represents his problem
o Literature reading on CFD modeling and process operation of customer
problem
o Use of right tools and mathematical systems to solve the problem with
primary focus of solution to customer
o Guide and Train the project engineers on modeling approach and the tools
o Analyze and interpret the results in terms of mathematical accuracy and
its connection with the real system/process
o Present the results to the customer as technical expert
o Work on possible publication opportunities
• Project Execution and Customer Engagement
o Work independently on delivery of consulting projects as per quality and
schedule
o Presenting the results and progress updates to customers at regular
project meetings
o Make sure project tasks are as per quality and schedule
o Conduct technical-webinars for potential customers, Build case studies
for sales-activities,
o Understand the requirements from potential/new customers and write
technical proposals

Education Background & Experience:
• PhD with (7+ years of experience) or Master’s (with 10+ years of
experience) from Chemical/Mechanical engineering discipline
• Should have prior hands-on experience in handling CFD tools like: Star
CCM+ or Ansys-FLUENT or OpenFOAM
• Experience in handling complex applications involving Multiphase Flows,
Combustion, etc…
• Should be able to deliver on projects with strict deadlines under
pressure situations
• Must have H1-B/ Green Card/ US Citizenship
