The FLACS suite of software is based on the CFD-technology developed at GexCon (CMR/CMI) since 1980. FLACS' main application area is gas explosion modeling. FLACS is also used in other areas like ventilation, gas dispersion and pressure wave propagation from gas explosions or explosives. A sister software, DESC, can be used for simulating dust explosions.
